About the St Kilda Football Club Foundation

Established in 2014, the St Kilda Football Club Foundation is the club’s philanthropic arm — a platform for individuals, patrons, and groups to contribute to the Saints’ pursuit of sustained success and our next premiership.

The Foundation drives investment in the areas that matter most: world-class infrastructure, high-performance programs, player development pathways, and deeper community connection. Each initiative strengthens the club’s foundations and fuels our competitive edge — both on and off the field.

Thanks to the generosity of thousands of passionate supporters, the Foundation has raised more than $11.5 million to date. Every donation over $2 is fully tax-deductible, with all funds directed to projects that directly advance the club’s strategic priorities.

Operating as a separate legal entity with an independent Board of Directors, the Foundation upholds the highest standards of transparency and accountability — ensuring every contribution is used with purpose and impact.

A Message from Andrew Bassat

The St Kilda Football Club Foundation has already delivered transformative projects like Reimagine Moorabbin and the Danny Frawley Centre. Those outcomes show what is possible when we unite behind a clear purpose.

Our focus now is on strengthening the foundations of our football program. In a fiercely competitive AFL environment, sustained success demands elite coaching, high-performance capability and the resources to improve every year.

The Foundation plays a critical role in that ambition, supporting long-term competitiveness while continuing to invest in initiatives that deepen connection, enhance our region and strengthen our First Nations programs.

By backing the Foundation, members are directly investing in a stronger St Kilda both on and off the field, while helping drive us towards our ultimate goals.
